D’Appolonia has been a leader in geotechnical engineering services since its founding in the United States in 1956. Our experience is that a through understanding of soil conditions at a site combined with sound geotechnical engineering is essential to successful project completion. We gear our practice to this end, providing the Client with the geotechnical services required to bring in the project on time and under budget. D’Appolonia’s marine activities include site investigations, pipeline surveys, laboratory testing and geotechnical engineering for offshore platforms, gravity base structures, pipelines and ports. We have significant experience in seismic and geohazard assessments for deepwater pipelines as well as conventional structures. D’Appolonia also provides onshore engineering and foundation design for both commercial and heavy industrial construction.
