A new credit facility available for Turkish businesses and households, helping them to save energy, reduce their costs and cut their carbon footprint: D’Appolonia, in consortium with MWH Italy, GFA Envest and Frankfurt School for Economics, has been selected by EBRD to implement and manage the Turkey Private Sector Sustainable Energy Financing Facility.

D’Appolonia, after successfully completing the Due Diligence phase in 2009, is now engaged as Independent Environmental & Social consultant for the Monitoring of the Construction phase of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in Papua New Guinea sponsored by Exxon. The project consists of the construction of an upstream gas production and gathering network, a 195 mile onshore and 250 mile offshore gas pipeline connecting the Hides Gas Conditioning Plant to the LNG Plant located twenty kilometers northwest of Port Moresby.

D’Appolonia with the POLYTECT project is the winner of the JEC Award 2010 for the best innovation in composites in the category Building & Construction for the Intelligent composite “seismic wallpaper” concept. The awarding ceremony will be held next 13 April 2010 in Paris.
